Accomodation Services
Our University provides accommodation services at five dormitories; Yıldırım Beyazıt, Milli Piyango and Cumhuriyet for female students, and Yıldırım Beyazıt and Vehbi Koç for male students. Keçiören Dormitory serves research assistants and graduate students in accordance with Article 35 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547. Applications for the Accommodation Services of Ankara University start upon the announcement of the central university admission exam, and these applications are collected online at sks.ankara.edu.tr. As for the admissions, all applications are vetted based on a grading system that involves the applicants’ social-economic statues and their success rates. By taking the academic year into account, the result of the admissions and dates regarding the admissions are also announced online at sks.ankara.edu.tr.
Vehbi Koç Dormitory for male students accommodates 200 students with single or double room options. Ankara University Guest House (abbreviated as AKKEM in Turkish) on Beşevler 10th Year Campus site has a capacity of 23 guests.
Located on Dışkapı Campus, Yıldırım Beyazıt Dormitory for male students accommodates 160 students in double, triple and quadruple rooms
Yıldırım Beyazıt Dormitory for female students accommodates 234 students in suite room for three, and standard triple and quadruple rooms.
396 students and 24 guests are accommodated at Milli Piyango Dormitory, located on Cebeci Campus, with single and suite room for three, and double and triple room options. Additionally, Milli Piyango Dormitory has an additional service building on Gölbaşı 50th Year Campus, which can accommodate 47 students in single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms.
Cumhuriyet Dormitory, located on Cebeci Campus accomodates 172 students in double and triple rooms.
Located on Health Sciences Campus, Keçiören Dormitory offers 54 single and family suites.
In addition to the accommodation services, our students all other needs are taken care of with utmost care. Typically, all facilities have bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, laundry and study rooms, computer labs, waiting lounges, gyms, and wireless internet connection. Each room generally includes bed, desk, wardrobe, bed side table, mini fridge, television, phone, and shoe cabinet.
The accommodation services are offered during summers as well.
